Dell G15 5520 (2022) models are now available in India starting at Rs 89,990.

The 2022 refresh to the Dell G15 5510 and 5511 models with 12th gen Intel processors are now available in India starting at Rs 89,990. The base configuration of Intel i5 12500H and RTX 3050 paired with 16 GB DDR5 ram starts at Rs 89,990. The RTX 3060 variant is priced at Rs 1,29,990 similar to the 2021 pricing. The RTX 3060 variant is the currently the only model in the 5520 series to offer a 300 nits display with good color gamut.

Only the RTX 3060 variant gets the larger 86Whr batteries while the RTX 3050 / Ti models get 56 Whr batteries. The RTX 3060 variant also gets a Thunderbolt 4 port which the RTX 3050 models lack. Based on the Dell India website, an RTX 3070 Ti variant of the G15 may also be launched with a 240hz panel.
As of now with respect to other 12th gen Intel laptops currently available, this is currently the best RTX 3060 laptop paired with a 12th gen Intel CPU. At a price tag of around Rs 1,30,000, it is priced around the same as that of Legion 5 (2021) while offering a significantly better processor. Considering the specifications that this laptop offers at its price and due to lack of other alternatives at the moment, this makes it an easy recommendation for anyone looking for a solid RTX 3060 laptop under Rs 1.3 Lakh.
