Best Gaming Laptop under Rs 60,000

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600H 6 cores | GPU: RX5500M 4 GB | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 512 GB | Display: 15.6in FHD 45% NTSC - 250 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 144Hz

The MSI Bravo 15 offers good price to performance ratio at its current sale price of just Rs 57,990. There is literally no other gaming laptop that offers 16 GB ram out of the box in this price segment. The additional ram helps with better multi tasking capabilities and the dual channel memory helps with a significant boost in gaming for certain titles.

With that said, it should be noted that MSI does not have an extensive network of service centers across the country in comparison to other major brands, so after-sales service might not be as reliable as the competition. This might not be a major concern if you are from a major city.

MSI Bravo B5DD-043IN - Flipkart Link

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600H 6 cores | GPU: RX 5500M | Ram: 8 GB | SSD: 512 GB | Display: 16.1in FHD 45% NTSC - 250 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 60Hz

The HP Victus offers very similar specifications to the above-mentioned MSI Bravo 15 with the exception of the ram capacity and 144hz refresh rate. The ram capacity can be easily solved by adding another 8 GB ram but the refresh rate will have to be settled with unless connected to an external high refresh rate display.

The primary reason to opt for the Victus could be the minimal design language and the brand reliability in terms of its accessibility for after-sales service. If you need a higher refresh rate option under Rs 55,000, there is also the HP Pavilion with most of the same specifications but with a GTX 1650 instead. While you do get a higher refresh rate, GTX 1650 is slightly slower than RX5500M.

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600H 6 cores | GPU: GTX 1650 4 GB | Ram: 8 GB | SSD: 512 GB | Display: 15.6in FHD 45% NTSC - 250 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 144Hz

The HP Pavilion gaming offers a very similar and common configuration to other laptops in this price range but at a slightly lower price. The price difference lets you add another 8 GB ram for a total of 16 GB to increase your gaming performance and get the most out of your hardware.

This is the updated windows 11 variant and there is also a windows 10 variant with the same hardware that is slightly cheaper. If you would prefer windows 10 or would like to update to windows 11 and save yourself some money, you could opt for the windows 10 variant here.

Gaming Laptops

Best Gaming Laptop under Rs 70,000

1. MSI GF65 Thin 10UE-290IN - Rs 69,990 - Best Value for Money CPU: Intel Core i5 10500H 6 cores | GPU: RTX 3060 6 GB 75W TGP | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 512 GB | Display: 15.6in FHD 45% NTSC - 250 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 144Hz

The MSI GF65 Thin offers excellent price to performance ratio at its current sale price of just Rs 69,990. While it is offering an older generation i5 processor, it is the 6 core variant of the 10th gen i5. This is not the highest-performing RTX 3060 laptop in any way. BUT, at this price where you can usually find only RTX 3050 laptops or worse, this is one of the best deals that you can get at the moment.

However, it should be noted that MSI does not have an extensive network of service centers across the country in comparison to other major brands, so after-sales service might not be as reliable as the competition.

2. Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 - Rs 69,490 - Best choice for CPU performance CPU: Ryzen 7 5800H 8 cores | GPU: RTX 3050 4 GB 75W TGP | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 512 GB | Display: 15.6in FHD 45% NTSC - 250 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 120Hz

The Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 is an excellent alternative and one of the best options under Rs 70,000. It offers a Ryzen 5000 series 5800H 8 core processor paired with an RTX 3050 graphics card. Paired with 16 GB ram and 512 GB storage, this offers some of the best specifications for a device in this price range. The build quality is also solid.

Currently, it is priced at Rs 75,990 on Lenovo Store. You can get a cashback of Rs 5,000 by opting for card payment from any bank and an additional Instant discount of Rs 1,500 by applying the coupon code UNBOX. This brings down the price of the laptops to an effective price of Rs 69,490 making it much cheaper than the listed prices at Flipkart and Amazon.

3. Dell Gaming G15 5515 D560805WIN9W (2021) - Rs 71,990 - Best Overall in this segment

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600H 8 cores | GPU: RTX 3050 4 GB 95W TGP | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 512 GB | Display: 15.6in FHD 45% NTSC - 250 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 120Hz

The Dell Gaming G15 5515 is priced slightly above Rs 70,000 but it is worth including in this segment for its overall worth. It does not compromise in a lot of areas most budget laptops do except for the display which offers only an average color gamut just like any other gaming laptop in this segment. Apart from that, with 16 GB ram, out of the box, a 6 core Ryzen 5000 series CPU and a high TGP RTX 3050, this is a decent option worth considering for a well rounded gaming laptop.

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800H 8 cores | GPU: GTX 1650 4 GB | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 512 GB | Display: 15.6in FHD 45% NTSC - 250 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 120Hz

This is very similar to the above mentioned Ideapad gaming 3 with the exception of the GPU being a downgrade. This is only recommended if the above mentioned RTX 3050 variant of the same is out of stock. Suggested for CPU intensive usage rather than GPU intensive workloads.

Gaming Laptops

Best gaming laptops under Rs 80,000

CPU: Intel Core i5 11300H 4 cores | GPU: RTX 3060 6 GB 85W TGP | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 512 GB | Display: 15.6in FHD 45% NTSC - 250 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 144Hz

The Asus TUF Dash F15 is one of the lighter laptops in the gaming segment. It aims at being a compact intel-based gaming laptop similar to the Zephyrus lineup but in a budget price segment. It is priced slightly above Rs 70,000 but it is worth including in this segment for its overall worth. The major downside is that while the CPU offers excellent single-core speeds, games and other applications that can use more than 4 cores will be limited to just 4 cores. But for general use, content creation, designing, etc, the hardware combination is excellent and the added portability is a bonus.

If you are looking for strictly a gaming laptop, look into alternatives with 6 or more cores with an RTX 3060 or if you are looking for an overall decent laptop with Rs 80,000 as your max budget, then this is a good option to pick.

CPU: Intel Core i7 10750H 6 cores | GPU: RTX 3060 6 GB 75W TGP | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 1 TB | Display: 15.6in FHD 45% NTSC - 250 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 144Hz

The MSI GF65 thin offers impressive specifications for its price. While the CPU offered is from the 10th gen Intel lineup, it is still a capable 6 core CPU and shouldn't have much of a problem handling the relatively lower powered RTX 3060 on this laptop. Paired with 16 GB ram and 1 TB of SSD, this laptop undoubtedly offers a lot of value in this price.

Due to the lower wattage for the GPU, this is more suited for content creators who can make use of the large vram rather than gamers who are looking to get a lot of performance out of an RTX 3060.

MSI GF65 Thin 10UE-410IN - Flipkart Link

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800H 8 cores | GPU: RTX 3050 4 GB 75W | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 512 GB | Display: 16.1in FHD 100% sRGB - 300 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 144Hz

While the HP Victus doesn't have the strongest GPU in this price segment, it does offer a more balanced set of specifications that might again, appeal to content creators, designers and video editors more than gamers. It offers a good display with 100% sRGB color gamut and 300 nits brightness in comparison to most other gaming laptops (average 45% NTSC and 250 nits brightness) in or around this price range.

Apart from that, it is also powered by a Ryzen 7 5800H and RTX 3050 with a good amount of ram and SSD (there's a second m.2 slot if needed). The design would also appeal to professionals due to its minimal aesthetics.

High-End Gaming Laptops

Best gaming laptops under Rs 90,000

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600H 6 cores | GPU: RTX 3060 6 GB 95W | Ram: 16 GB | HDD: 1 TB | SSD: 256 GB | Display: 15.6in FHD 45% NTSC - 250 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 144Hz

The Acer Nitro 5 is no head-turner when it comes to design or aesthetics. It has remained almost the same for a couple of years now with very few changes to its design until 2022. This value-packed option pairs a top-of-the-line Ryzen 5 CPU 6 core CPU with a decently powered RTX 3060. Now, the design may not be a head-turner but that pricing definitely is, often leading to customers asking "why is it priced so low?".

Well, it is a budget lineup and hence it has a fully plastic build, the display color gamut isn't the best, the wattage of the RTX 3060 isn't as high as the higher priced models and that's pretty much it. For the price, it is mostly nitpicking at this point and this is an excellent performer in its price range. If you need an alternative to choose from, the only other choice is the Asus TUF Gaming F15 mentioned below.

CPU: Intel Core i5 11400H 6 cores | GPU: RTX 3060 6 GB 95W TGP | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 512 GB | Display: 15.6in FHD 45% NTSC - 250 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 144Hz

The TUF Gaming F15 is one of the best performing laptops in this price range and an excellent alternative to the above mentioned Acer Nitro, matching almost every specifications save for the Ryzen CPU. The TUF F15 features a 11th gen i5 with excellent single core performance and is hence slightly better suited for gaming than its Ryzen counterpart.

It also features a large 90whr battery giving it an edge in battery life among the generally poorly regarded battery life of gaming laptops. While this is not going to give you significantly better game times on battery, it is going to help with general tasks like browsing or content consumption. While gaming or for any other performance-intensive tasks, it is recommended to always connect to a power outlet to allow maximum performance for your laptop.

3. Dell G15 5520 D560822WIN9B - Rs 88,290 (Editor's pick for best CPU performance)

CPU: Intel Core i5 12500H 12 cores | GPU: RTX 3050 4 GB 95W TGP | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 512 GB | Display: 15.6in FHD 45% NTSC - 250 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 144Hz

The Dell G15 5520 is the 2022 refresh of the G15 5511 series from 2021. It offers the latest Intel 12 gen i5 with 12 cores offering impressive single-core and multi-threaded performance. It even surpasses the new MacBook Pro in certain CPU benchmarks, thanks to the 12th gen improvements.

With 16 GB ram and 512 GB SSD out of the box, the laptop offers overall impressive specifications. The CPU and GPU pairing also makes this laptop place higher than 2021 Legion and Strix laptops with RTX 3050 in terms of performance. If you are not looking for the most framerates but an overall well-balanced device with a priority for CPU performance, then this is a great pick for you.

High-End Gaming Laptops

Best gaming laptops under Rs 1,00,000 / Rs 1 Lakh

The laptops in this list may be priced slightly above the mentioned price range but have been added to this list, either due to a lack of other options or due because they are worth the additional spend.

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800H 8 cores | GPU: RTX 3060 6 GB 95W | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 256 GB | Display: 15.6in FHD 100% sRGB - 300 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 144Hz

The HP Victus is the mid-end offering from HP's line of gaming laptops that rests between the HP Pavilion and HP Omen lineup.

The Victus offers an excellent CPU and GPU pairing and follows a minimal aesthetic language that is likely to appeal to professionals such as content creators, designers and architects. The strong hardware configuration along with an excellent 100% sRGB display makes this well suited for those purposes. It is no slouch for gaming either and offers decent battery life for a gaming laptop. However, when you are spending as much, it would be advisable to opt for the Omen 15 by paying an additional Rs 5,000 or so if you have the budget for it. The Omen 15 offers additional 512 GB storage for a total of 1 TB and offers better build quality and slightly better GPU performance.

CPU: Ryzen 9 5900HX 8 cores | GPU: RTX 3060 6 GB 95W | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 512 GB | Display: 15.6in FHD 45% NTSC - 250 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 144Hz

The Asus TUF Gaming A15 is a slightly cheaper alternative to the above-mentioned HP Victus but with better build quality. While it lacks the color gamut, it does however, offer a large 90whr battery which combined with Ryzen's efficiency should last long for general tasks such as web browsing and content consumption.

For the price it offers overall excellent specifications, balancing the price to performance ratio quite well. But as mentioned with the Victus, if you can afford to spend some more, it is advisable to consider the HP Omen 15 mentioned below in the next price segment which offers an overall more refined experience with minimal compromises.

CPU: Intel Core i7 11800H 8 cores | GPU: RTX 3060 6 GB 85W TGP | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 1 TB | Display: 15.6in FHD 100% sRGB - 300 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 144Hz

The MSI Pulse GL66 is a decent choice to consider if your budget is strictly limited to Rs 1,00,000. It has a fast 11th gen i7 CPU paired with a slightly underpowered RTX 3060. But unlike most laptops in this budget, the MSI GL66 manages to offer fairly good color gamut and color accuracy (especially post calibration).

With that said, if you can extend your budget by about 10%, it is worth looking into the next segment for better display and better overall reliability and after sales service. If you are from a major city, you might not have trouble with accessibility to an MSI service center but in general, MSI has a low number of service centers/collection points across the country.

High-End Gaming Laptops

Best gaming laptops under Rs 1,10,000 / Rs 1.1 Lakh

CPU: Intel Core i7 11800H 8 cores | GPU: RTX 3060 6 GB 105W | Ram: 16 GB | HDD: 1 TB | SSD: 512 GB | Display: 15.6in QHD 100% sRGB - 300 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 165Hz

The Acer Predator Helios 300 2021 refreshed model features updated internal components with an i7 11th gen and is now almost an year old. Currently the prices are about Rs 30,000 lower from its initial launch price of Rs 1,40,000 making this a fairly good option to consider now.

For the price it offers overall decent specifications, a lot of storage, with a very capable 8 core i7 CPU and an RTX 3060 with decent wattage. Predator lineup along with the Nitro lineup is one of the only few remaining brands that still offer HDD storage while almost everyone else has switched to only SSD in favour of using larger batteries instead with the saved physical space. At under Rs 1,10,000, this laptop does make for a decent purchase but personally, we prefer the more modern design (and slightly better specifications) of the Dell G15 5515 at Rs 1,14,990 found in the next segment.

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800H 8 cores | GPU: RTX 3060 6 GB 100W | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 1 TB | Display: 15.6in FHD 100% sRGB - 300 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 144Hz

The Omen 15 is often known for its no nonsense design and performance. It offers a good balance of specifications and does its job well with the given hardware. It does not compromise much in any regard and is an easy choice to recommend for most users. It might not have the brightest display or highest wattage (this is the same with every laptop in this budget) but laptops with those features cost at least Rs 20,000 more.

For the price, the Omen 15 is an excellent choice worth considering.

HP Omen 15-en1036AX - Flipkart Link

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800H 8 cores | GPU: RTX 3060 6 GB 95W | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 1 TB | Display: 16.1in QHD 100% sRGB - 300 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 165Hz

The HP Victus is mostly very similar to the Omen 15 with the exception of the display being slightly larger at 16.1in and a lot more sharper with a QHD resolution.

It offers a similar minimal design to the Omen 15 while the performance remains more or less similar for the laptops in this price range due to similar pairing of CPU and GPU. The display panel hinge is slightly flimsy on the Victus but nothing too concerning unless you are a careless user. This makes for a decent alternative to the above mentioned Predator with mostly the same specifications except for a slightly larger display, an AMD based processor and larger battery.

High-End Gaming Laptops

Best gaming laptops under Rs 1,20,000 / Rs 1.2 Lakh

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800H 8 cores | GPU: RTX 3060 6 GB 130W | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 512 GB | Display: 15.6in FHD 100% sRGB - 300 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 165Hz

The Dell Gaming G15 5515 improves tremendously on the 2020 variant of the Dell G5 15 SE in every way. The 2021 models seem to have take inspiration from Dell's premium Alienware Gaming Linenup. The new Dell G15 is like a toned down Alienware, mostly in terms of lack of the branding.

For the price, this is one of the best RTX 3060 laptops to buy right now with minimal compromise in any regard. The RTX 3060 offered has some of the highest wattage available and it performs as good as the Lenovo Legion at around Rs 10,000 lower price point. The display is also good unlike the lower end models of the same Dell G15 lineup. At just under Rs 1,15,000, this makes for an easy recommendation for most users. It should also be noted that, while this laptop has a good cooling system, it is optimized for better performance even at the cost of relatively higher temperature. So you might have to tinker around to get the temperature you find acceptable or get something like the Legion which offers an even better cooling system.

High-End Gaming Laptops

Best gaming laptops under Rs 1,30,000 / Rs 1.3 Lakh

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800H 8 cores | GPU: RTX 3060 6 GB 130W | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 2 TB | Display: 15.6in FHD 100% sRGB - 300 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 165Hz

If you have been following the Gaming laptop space, it is unlikely that you haven't heard of the Legion 5. It is one of the best performing series with robust cooling and build quality and does not compromise in performance or elsewhere. Consequently, it is also slightly bulky due to the cooling system and large power brick to power it up.

But then so are most gaming laptops. This is a no brainer when it comes to recommending gaming laptops. If you have the budget for it, definitely go for it. You are unlikely to be not satisfied.

If you would prefer a QHD display instead at a slightly cheaper price (and lower storage capacity), checkout the below option as well. Both options offer a MUX switch that lets you switch to only the dedicated graphics card for some extra performance boost (up to about 15% depending on the application/game).

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800H 8 cores | GPU: RTX 3060 6 GB 130W | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 1 TB | Display: 15.6in QHD 100% sRGB - 300 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 165Hz

This is a vary similar model to the above mentioned Legion 5 and it retains the same great performance. The only differences are that it offers a sharper QHD display, a lower price and a relatively lower storage capacity but that can be upgraded.

Both the options are worth it for the price and it comes down to your preferences on whether you require a sharper display or would like more storage with an FHD display which is still pretty sharp at 15.6in. Note that this model is currently priced at Rs 1,24,990 which is slightly cheaper than its usual selling price of about Rs 1,28,990. So, beyond tonight, this price might not last.

CPU: Intel Core i7 11800H 8 cores | GPU: RTX 3070 8 GB 85W | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 1 TB | Display: 15.6in QHD 100% DCI-P3 - 300 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 165Hz

This is one of the only laptop currently available to offer an RTX 3070 GPU under Rs 1,30,000. However, the MSI Pulse GL66 managed to do this because it offers a lower powered 85w RTX 3070 compared to a typical 115-140w wattage RTX 3070 found on better gaming laptops.

So, for gamers this might not be of much interest but for content creators, 3D designers and such users who can make use of the large 8 GB Vram on the RTX 3070, this GPU combined with the fast single core speeds of the i7 11th gen CPU makes for an excellent choice for professionals on a budget considering that most RTX 3070 laptops cost at least Rs 20,000 more. So, if you fall among one of those users, this is a decent laptop worth looking into.

With a 130w RTX 3060 and a 11th gen i7, the MSI GP66 Leopard offers an excellent pairing of CPU and GPU. This combined with a 240hz refresh rate display is a great setup for competitive esports players looking for a higher than 165hz refresh rate display on a budget.

It also has a MUX switch similar to the Legion 5 series that lets you use only the dedicated GPU for some extra performance boost up to 15%.

Upper High-End Gaming Laptops

Best gaming laptops under Rs 1,40,000 / Rs 1.4 Lakh

CPU: Ryzen 9 5900HX 8 cores | GPU: RX 6700M 10 GB | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 1 TB | Display: 15.6in FHD 100% sRGB - 300 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 240Hz

The MSI Delta 15 is one of the only laptops available in the Indian Market to offer an RX6700M GPU. At just under Rs 1,40,000, the Graphics processor on this laptop manages to outperform a lot of higher priced laptops. When Ray Tracing performance is not of concern, the RX 6700M mostly performs on par with a RTX 3070 and sometimes even out performs it. The 10 GB Vram helps as well. But if you are a fan of Ray Tracing, you should look into an RTX 3060 or RTX 3070 instead.

The Delta 15 is also fairly compact and weighs much less than regular gaming laptops at just 1.9kg compared to regular gaming laptops that weigh around 400g-500g more. Combined with a 240hz refresh rate display with good color gamut, and a minimal design language, this is an excellent value gaming laptop for gamers and professionals.

The Omen 15 doesn't require much of an introduction. It combines together a good display, excellent CPU and GPU pairing and then give it a robust cooling system packaged in a neat and minimal form factor. There is not a lot to dislike or nitpick about this laptop. With a QHD display covering wide color gamut with a high refresh rate, it should appeal to both gamers and professionals alike.

This is also one of the most reliable and relatively cheaper RTX 3070 laptops available right now.

CPU: Intel i7-12700H 14 cores | GPU: RTX 3060 6 GB 130W | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 1 TB | Display: 15.6in QHD 100% sRGB - 300 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 240Hz

The Dell Gaming G15 SE improves upon the 2021 models with improved cooling and the latest i7 12th gen CPU. It has also received an upgrade in the display department, now offering a QHD display with 240hz refresh rate which makes it one of the most high-end displays available on a laptop in this segment.

However, it only offers a single m.2 SSD slot, so you will have to swap out the existing 1 TB SSD if you need to upgrade it. For most people, this shouldn't be a problem though, and should be able to make do with an external SSD or HDD.

The Legion Slim 7 as the name implies is a slim version of the Legion gaming lineup. It weighs 500g lesser than a Legion while still offering a good amount of the same performance. It also matches the ram capacity, storage and the display panel quality.

If you are looking for a gaming laptop that isn't as heavy as regular gaming laptop but can game when needed, this a good balance between portability and performance. If you need even more portability, scroll below to find the Zephyrus G14 which weighs around 200-300g less than this Legion Slim 7.

The Asus ROG Zephyrus G15, much like the above mentioned Legion Slim 7 is a relatively lightweight gaming laptop with a 15in display in a compact form factor that weighs just 1.9kg, around 500g lighter than regular gaming laptops.

With an excellent-looking design that isn't too gamer-y or too minimal, it is likely to appeal to a wider audience. Despite its compact form factor, it also manages to offer a lot of performance while still offering some upgrade capability for the storage and ram.

This is an excellent alternative to the Legion Slim 7 and both of them offer very similar specifications. It mostly comes down to user preferences at this point.

The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 was an unusual entry into the gaming laptop space when it was first launched in 2020. Weighing in at just around 1.6kg, it was one of the lightest and most portable gaming laptops. To this day, it holds most of that title when it comes to actually delivering performance in a relatively small form factor. While there have been lighter laptops like the Flow X13 or Vivobook Pro 14, both of them do not offer as good a dedicated GPU inside the laptop.

The G14 brings the ultimate portability and performance packed into a compact 14in form factor and it is unparalleled for now when it comes to a gaming laptop. Apart from the excellent performance for its size, it also features a large battery, a sharp QHD display with a high refresh rate and good color gamut, and a power-efficient CPU.

Upper High-End Gaming Laptops

Best gaming laptops under Rs 1,50,000 / Rs 1.5 Lakh

CPU: Ryzen 9 5900HX 8 cores | GPU: RX 6800M 12 GB 145W | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 1 TB | Display: 15.6in QHD 100% DCI-P3 - 300 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 165Hz

The ROG Strix Advantage Edition is part of the Advantage Edition series of Gaming laptops that features an AMD CPU and GPU pairing. The RX6800M is an excellent performer for general applications and gaming performing similar to an RTX 3070 or RTX 3080 depending on the application to game. But the same cannot be said for games that use Ray Tracing where RTX graphics cards from Nvidia performs significantly better. So, if you are gamer that does not care about Ray Tracing or does not need the best Ray Tracing performance available, then this is as good as it gets for the price.

Luckily, if you do need the RTX performance, there is an on ongoing sale as of the time of writing for an RTX 3080 8GB ROG Strix Scar laptop for just Rs 10,000 more than this Advantage edition model. You can either scroll below to the next price segment or check that out here.

Upper High-End Gaming Laptops

Best gaming laptops under Rs 1,60,000 / Rs 1.6 Lakh

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800H 8 cores | GPU: RTX 3060 6 GB 130W | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 1 TB | Display: 15.6in FHD 100% sRGB - 300 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 300Hz

The ROG Strix Scar offers a top of the line RTX 3080 with 8 GB vram instead of the regular 16 GB vram but at its current sale price of Rs 1,59,194, it is a steal deal since it can conveniently out perform an RTX 3070 based laptop which is what you usually get in this price range.

If you can find stocks and if you can afford this, there is not much to think about, the rest of the specifications are just as good making this a strong recommendation.

The MSI GP66 Leopard offers an Intel i7 11th gen paired with one of the highest TGP RTX 3070 at a relatively lower price than its competition. This combined with the presence of MUX switch and a fast 240hz refresh rate display should make this an ideal choice for competitive esports title players.

At its current price, it makes for an excellent alternative to consider in this price range.

Upper High-End Gaming Laptops

Best gaming laptops under Rs 1,80,000 / Rs 1.8 Lakh

CPU: Intel Core i7-12700H 14 cores | GPU: RTX 3070 8 GB 140W | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 1 TB | Display: 15.6in QHD 100% DCI-P3 - 300 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 165Hz

The MSI Gaming Crosshair might have a particularly catchy and controversial design choice in this special edition laptop but the specifications on this laptop shouldn't disappoint anyone. With the latest i7 12th gen offering and a high TGP RTX 3070, this is one of the better pairings in this segment that does not compromise in CPU or GPU performance.

The display at QHD is also sharp and offers up to a very respectable 165Hz refresh rate. If you would prefer something less eye-catchy when you carry it around, you can look into the below-mentioned Omen 16 which offers very similar specifications at a slightly lower price.

CPU: Intel Core i7-12700H 14 cores | GPU: RTX 3070 8 GB 115W | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 1 TB | Display: 16.1in QHD 100% sRGB - 300 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 165Hz

The Omen 16 is the flagship gaming lineup from HP that offers some advantages over the HP Omen 15. The Omen 16 offers slightly better build quality, cooling and a slightly larger 16.1" display. It also offers more wattage to the GPU to push out more performance.

Due to its excellent CPU and GPU performance, The Omen 16 easily earns itself this position in this segment making it an alternative worth considering. It also follows the minimal design language similar to the HP Omen 15 and Victus 16 which should make this appealing to a wider audience, particularly professionals that need the graphics performance.

CPU: Ryzen 9 5900HS 8 cores | GPU: RTX 3070 8 GB 100W | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 1 TB | Display: 15.6in QHD 100% DCI-P3 - 300 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 165Hz

The Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 is the most compact 15.6" gaming laptop that you can get weighing about 500g lesser than a regular gaming laptop. It offers an excellent balance between performance and portability while also delivering it in style.

The laptop notably loses out on an inbuilt webcam, so if you are not comfortable with using an external webcam, you might have to look elsewhere or wait for the upcoming 2022 Zephyrus G15 with an in-built webcam but that could be a few months away. On the same note, in general, inbuilt webcams perform way poorly than external webcams, so you might actually have a better webcam experience with the latter albeit the inconvenience of carrying it around.

Premium High-End Gaming Laptops

Best gaming laptops under Rs 2,00,000 / Rs 2 Lakh

CPU: Intel Core i9-12900H 14 cores | GPU: RTX 3070 Ti 8 GB 150W | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 1 TB | Display: 17.3in FHD 100% sRGB - 300 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 360Hz

The MSI Vector GP76 is one of the bigger gaming laptops with a large 17.3in FHD display. Apart from offering one of the fastest processor on any laptop, the i9 12900H, it also offers one of the highest refresh rates at 360hz for the most competitive esports players out there. All of this is powered by an RTX 3070 ti to handle the graphics intensive loads. At 150w wattage, this is also one of the highest performing RTX 3070ti.

At its price, this is understandably a niche product for those users who require the fastest refresh rates and performance on the go in a 17in form factor, and hence this may not appeal to everyone. But if you are one of those users, this is one of the best options that you can get at this price.

Premium High-End Gaming Laptops

Best gaming laptops under Rs 2,30,000 / Rs 2.3 Lakh

CPU: Intel Core i9 12900H 14 cores | GPU: RTX 3070 Ti 8 GB 150W with MUX | Ram: 32 GB | SSD: 1 TB | Display: 15.6in QHD 100% DCI-P3 - 300 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 240Hz

The Asus ROG Strix Scar is the updated 2022 model with the latest i9 12th gen offering paired with highest wattage RTX 3070 Ti with MUX support. There's also 32GB ram by default and 1 TB SSD.

The sharp QHD display with wide color gamut can also output at 240 Hz refresh rate. There's not much to complain about here except for the lack of webcam which was a weird decision considering the present significant demand for online meetings and videocalls. As a gaming laptop, there is nothing to complain about and the laptop has been brilliantly put together. The pricing does seem high compared to previous generation. It is probably due to the switch to DDR5 memory and the new 12th gen processors during this age of chip shortage. Unfortunately, this is the best that you can get as of now under this price bracket. If you'd rather prefer something relatively lower-priced, you can look into the MSI GP76 from the previous price segment on the below mentioned Alienware m15 R7 which offers very similar specifications.

A 17in variant of this laptop is also available at about Rs 5,000 more. You can check it out here. (17in) ASUS ROG Strix Scar 17 G733ZW-LL139WS (2022) - Flipkart Link

The Alienware M15 is another alternative in this price segment offering very similar specifications to the above-mentioned Strix Scar and other gaming laptops in this price range. At this point, it is again a matter of preference and there is no clear winner or preference of one over the other.

In either case, you are unlikely to be disappointed with your purchase.

Premium High-End Gaming Laptops

Best gaming laptops under Rs 2,50,000 / Rs 2.5 Lakh

**It is recommended to refer to the Under Rs 2,30,000 / Rs 2.3 Lakh section due to the lack of options in this price segment.**

Premium High-End Gaming Laptops

Best gaming laptops above Rs 2,50,000 / Rs 2.5 Lakh

For all practical purposes, these are the best gaming laptops that money can buy. Value for Money / Price-performance ratio gets thrown out of the window at these prices. But if you need the most performance that you can get on a portable machine, you are at the right place.

Best above 2.5L

CPU: Intel core i9-12900H 8 cores | GPU: RTX 3080 Ti 16 GB 150W | Ram: 32 GB | SSD: 1 TB | Display: 15.6in QHD 100% DCI-P3 - 300 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 240Hz

This Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 is not the most expensive laptop on this list but it certainly is one of the best performing laptops that money can buy. It has a top-of-the-line Intel core i9 12th gen CPU and an RTX 3080 Ti GPU which are both respectively the highest performing components in its regard.

The lack of a webcam might be the only deal-breaker for certain users but for others who are alright with attaching an external webcam, this is an excellent choice worth considering.

CPU: Intel Core i7-12700H 14 cores | GPU: RTX 3080 Ti 16 GB 150W | Ram: 16 GB | SSD: 512 GB | Display: 15.6in FHD 45% NTSC - 250 nits brightness | Refresh Rate: 144Hz

The Alienware m15 R7 is a relatively cheaper alternative to the above-mentioned Asus Rog Strix Scar. It offers much of the same specifications with the exception of the i9 processor. Notably, the i9 CPU is only slightly ahead of the i7 (if any) in terms of gaming performance and hence you wouldn't really be missing out on a lot by opting for an i7 CPU in real-life performance.

This is not the fastest Alienware that you can get but based on current availability, this is it. If you are willing to wait, Alienware x15 R2 should be available soon with an i9 CPU and a 175w RTX 3080 Ti. It would also be priced significantly high at around Rs 3.5 Lakh.
