Hey everyone, I'm looking for some suggestions for a laptop for my sister. She needs it primarily for entertainment and productivity purposes, but it should also be powerful with a good screen and not too bulky. Our budget is around 1.1 - 1.2 lakh rupees. Can anyone recommend a few good options? Additionally, I should mention that my sister is not a fan of Apple products. After doing some research, the ASUS VivoBook Pro 14 OLED has caught my attention as a potential option. However, I have heard some concerns about ASUS customer support, so I would appreciate any insights or alternative recommendations you may have.

"I would advise anyone looking to buy a laptop to get a MacBook. It's the best and fastest because its processor is excellent. I realized this when I got stuck working on my university dissertation, which caused a delay. As a result, I had to seek help from pay for delay dissertation to complete it. After that experience, I decided to purchase a MacBook, and I’ve been very happy with it ever since."
Checkout the following options.
1. ASUS Zenbook S 13 OLED (2022) UM5302TA-LX701WS (8 core variant)
ASUS Zenbook S 13 OLED (2022) UM5302TA-LX502WS (6 core variant) The above options weigh 1.1 kg, have decent integrated graphics, excellent power efficient Ryzen CPUs and amazing OLED panels. It also offers amazing battery life (up to 17 hours of video playback). For all the mentioned usages, this should be a great choice. However, the ram cannot be further upgraded as is the case with most thin and light laptops.
If you need a dedicated Graphics card as well, then the Vivobook 14 Pro OLED makes sense. However, that laptop is from 2021 and hence has a 2021 gen processor while the zenbook mentioned above offers 2023 processor. As for customer service/after-sales support. There's no brand that I would suggest with absolute certainty since I've heard of good and bad experiences of literally all brands from the users that approach me. However, I would suggest that irrespective of brand, opt for the maximum amount of extended warranty period for some peace of mind. On another note, personally, I've had great experiences with Asus service centers, however, this was for their motherboards. This could vary based on the product, and region.
2. Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 NP930QED-KB2IN (2022) (2-in-1)
Intel 12th gen i7 processors power these 2-in-1 laptops. They weigh just 1kg and offer great battery life, portability, and 2-in-1 laptop/tablet functionality. These are pretty versatile for anyone looking for a high-end portability-focused laptop.
3. ASUS Vivobook Pro 14X OLED M7400QE-KM046WS (2021)
All the goodness of portability and performance packed in to one. This is one of those very few thin and light laptops that offer a dedicated graphics card. Despite the 2021 processor, it is still a decent choice, owing to its relatively lower price tag, good battery life, dedicated graphics card and OLED display.
